Mobilitie Announces Dark Fiber Lease Agreement with Mzima Networks

Mzima Expands Existing New York City Fiber Network

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mobilitie LLC (www.mobilitie.com), a metro fiber network provider, announced today that Mzima Networks (www.mzima.net), the world’s leading high-performance network service provider, has signed an agreement to lease a dark fiber ring to expand Mzima’s fiber network in New York City.

“Mzima had three requirements for us,” said Greg Weiner, Vice President of Network Strategy for Mobilitie. “We had to provide a diverse optical path…at an aggressive price-point…and complete it within 5 business days. It was a hard push for the New York City Operations Team, but they delivered!”
